Thursday June 6, 2013

Today was a great day! I went "Dock Fishing" like usual. I found a new spot on the dock! I was curious what I would catch. I was using big bait because I wanted to catch a nice bass. After a wile I was running out of bait, so I started to use smaller bait. In the matter of seconds I caught a fish then lost it. Then i tried again and I realed up my bait and a dozen of small bass followed it, I was exicted! Then I tried again and I finally caught 1 then another and another. At around 8:30 I went back to try again. It was slow at first then out of no where I had a big bite it was a stripped bass, and it looked like a ceeper but no one was there to help me net it. So I lost it. But I never gave up. 10 mins later I had a huge bite and I hooked it, it was a stripped bass! Unforntly it was a short but it was close to ceeper size I was happy! It was a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for not updating for a while, I lost my camera with all the fishing pics, but now I have a new one.  Caught this Bonita off Cedar Beach Saturday 9/22/12.  I was fishing for snappers and hooked this energetic fish from the Tuna species, and it gave me an amazing fight on 8lb test monofiliment. It may not look big but it screamed around the Long Island sound like a Tuna.
